Launching Kibitzing with Colleagues:
A New Task Force Experience
Monday mornings after the Task Force Meeting
8:45 - ?
Kibitzing is a yiddish word that, among many definitions, means people being together talking, sharing and yes, sometimes gossiping. Well, after the last Task Force meeting about 5-6 Task Force members remained on line for almost an hour kibitzing about education, technology, STEM and more. They had such a great time meeting each other, sharing ideas and resources, they thought we should make this a regular part of the Task Force Monday morning experience. So, beginning August 19, you are invited to Kibitz With Your Colleagues after the regular Task Force meeting.
There will be no agenda, no presentations, no ending time, just discussion, sharing and collaborating. The meeting will remain open as long as people want to keep kibitzing. Mark your calendar and come kibitz with us. Just stay online after the meeting.

Updates and Digital Access
Federal and State Updates
Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic the world is creating the largest telecommunity of all time. Social and physical distancing is becoming the new normal requiring unpresented demand for digital access for all Arizona communities including tribal, rural and other underserved communities and low-income neighborhoods in Arizona.
AZBSN, the Arizona Broadband Stakeholder Network, led by ATIC, the Arizona Telecommunications and Information Council, GAZEL, the Greater Arizona Educational Leadership organization, in cooperation with many other stakeholder organizations, have created an AZBSN COVID-19 Digital Access Task Force.
What Is Digital Access
Digital access is more than just access to fast affordable and reliable Internet access.
Everyone, especially students, also require access to technology such as computers, laptops, and smart phones as well as other digital equipment such as routers, hotspots, and web cameras. They also need digital content resources and skills to effectively use technology.
